Are you interested in archery? Carleton Archery is offering beginner lessons open to Carleton Archery members! These lessons cover everything from basic archery techniques to safety protocols! Find out more and register at the link.

Carleton Archery waiver updated Jan 1, 2025

Please sign both the CUSA Waiver and the Carleton Archery waiver before your first visit! The CUSA waiver must be signed annually and as of May 1, 2025 all previous members will need to re-sign the Carleton Archery waiver. Both are available at the link 🎯


Fees and Payments

All of our fee information and our online payment form. You can also pay in cash and by debt or credit at our events!

2024-2025 Fees

Updated for 2024-2025!

$15 yearly membership fee. This fee is only required once per year and isn’t required to make one session payments.

Program Fees
Saturday Drop-In $55 for one semester or $45 with your own equipment; $15 for one session or $10 if you use your own equipment
League $45 for one semester or $35 with your own equipment; $10 for one session or $5 if you use your own equipment
Lessons $140 for a six-week class or $130 if you use your own equipment. The lesson fee also gives access to Saturday drop-in shooting during the weeks of the class

Exam shoots and the fall and winter tournaments are free!

Payments can be made online at pay.carletonarchery.ca or in person at our events.

*Please note, if you paid a summer semester fee in 2024, you are eligible for membership and do not need to pay the membership fee this year.

Updated for 2024-2025!

Our regular events take place in IH2404 in the Carleton Ice House.

Don't have equipment? We have recurve bows, arrows, finger tabs, and arm guards available to borrow.

  • Drop-In from 2pm-4 on most Saturdays for open shoots! No experience? We will give you some tips to get started
  • Looking to refine your shot or if you're looking for in-depth lessons to get off to the right start, lessons on Saturdays at 4pm can help, check out the lessons tab for more info
  • Looking for some friendly competition? Club league is Wednesdays from 9:30pm-11. After a few rounds of practice we shoot 10 three arrow ends on world archery 10-ring targets. You can submit up to nine scores with the top six counting for ranking.

Carleton Archery is a beginner-friendly archery club that provides members of the Carleton student community and wider community in Ottawa, including students from other universities and colleges, with the opportunity to safely practice archery on Carleton University’s campus. We pride ourselves in providing a social, student-friendly atmosphere where members can work on both learning and improving their archery skills.

Our club operates under a unique structure where operations are shared between two organizations, Carleton University Archery Club (CUAC) and Carleton Archery Club, Inc. (CAC, Inc.). When you join Carleton Archery, you join both the CUAC and CAC, Inc.
